Orders of 3 or less packs (excluding SHINE Mood: Omega-3s because it is a bigger pack) will be sent as letter mail without tracking. Canada Post has an over 97% accuracy rate on delivering mail so you are in good hands. It can take up to 10 business days to receive your first order. Patience is a virtue:) If you don't receive your order we will resend your order at no additional cost.
Orders of 4 ore more products (or simply SHINE Mood: Omega-3s because it is a bigger pack) will be sent with tracking. These shipments cost a lot more for us but they average out allowing us to offer free shipping.
We wish it was as simple as placing it in your green bin! Unfortunately, since our packing looks and feels like traditional, non-compostable packaging, it often gets mistaken for trash and ends up in the landfill.
If you choose to place your packs in the garbage (or that is the only option available to you) you can feel good that our packs are made from wood and corn will break down with time without leaving harmful, toxic microplastics behind. It’s not a perfect solution yet, but it is progress, which is why we have chosen to go with this packaging option, with the goal of constantly improving.
Municipalities and waste management companies are making improvements that eventually will allow compostable packaging in your green or compost bin.
To keep our product costs down (shipping costs are expensive) and to limit the unnecessary traffic on our roads and the impact on the environment, you’re welcome to keep your product(s).

When Health Canada issued our NPN (Natural Product Number), they mandate that each product’s suggested dose has been supported by research to be both effective and safe. The SHINE Scientific Advisory Board has also consulted on choosing clinical studies. We’re not paid to refer to studies and simply source them as a value-added resource for you. SHINE Mood®, our fish oil option, isn’t vegan or vegetarian. This product includes fish oil and a soft gel made of gelatin and glycerin which is a commonly used and safe ingredient of bovine (cattle) source. We care and advocate for the respectful and ethical treatment of all animals.
We would appreciate if you texted or emailed us a picture of the damage so we can improve our package design or processes.
Because of the negative environmental impacts and added expense of return shipping, there is no need to return the product to us.
