A 15 year journey of mental health self-healing, a medical system that tried hard but was too generic, the desperate pursuit of a customized approach to healing, and a friendship that saw through it all.
SHINE is the brainchild of longtime pals Phil Desrochers and Greg Leger. Phil, now a self-described supplement nerd, struggled for 15 years with cognitive and mood problems before experiencing a dramatic recovery only after scrapping the usual generic approach and taking a targeted, personalized approach.
Greg recognized the beauty in what Phil had accomplished—because that’s what friends do. And together, they gathered the SHINE team of experts and found a way to bring a unique form of supplement personalization to other busy Canadians looking to take control of their mental wellbeing and live confidently.

We believe that to be a great company, we have to be a good one too. We built SHINE to be a business that has a positive impact. Advocating for the importance of school and having a socially responsible growth mindset are at the core of our support of Maison de la Paix. Maison de la Paix offers professional social support and transition housing for struggling teenagers, young women and men.
Our Co-Founder Greg is a supporter and President of the Board because it was the values he learned from his parents of staying in school and to never quit that kept him away from the wrong path.

A wild adventure in rejecting the status quo and boldly pursuing mental wellbeing.
Trial and Discovery
Years of trial and error testing on ourselves led to the discovery of some of the very best natural ingredients available around the world.
Cut the Crap
We rejected the common practice of using strange ingredients like Titanium Dioxide, often found in big name supplements.
We love and respect the Canadian Healthcare system but also believe that natural herbs, with good health habits, can have miraculous healing effects.
